Dear Cousin,

Hoping you are a cousin and can share information about our common ancestors. I look forward to hearing from you. Please contact me at

My grandfather was Christian Peter Thomsen. He was born in 1883 in Hadsund, Denmark. He immigrated to Omaha, Nebraska in 1903. He settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. After his retirement, he spent many hours researching his Danish family. His major source of information was Adslev Slægten, a family organization that has published several history books.

My grandmother was Helena Kathrine Jensen. She was born in 1887 in Hvirring, Skandeborg, Denmark. After her family immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, she joined them in 1907. She was proud of her Danish ancestry and loved her Danish homeland.

My other grandfather was Frederick John Scroxton White. He was born in 1885 in Northampton, England. His family immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1888. Florence White, his sister, researched the family roots in England and provided histories of many of these ancestors.

My other grandmother was Ruth Glass who was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1893. Her mother had English roots. Her father was a Yankee.

One of my hobbies is genealogy. I began studying the various lines in 2003. My research has focused in England in extending the White lines and in the south in discovering more of the Glass line. This is a work in process. I have found past mistakes and hope you will share additional information with me.

Marilyn and I have six children that have provided much joy. We are a growing family, as grandchildren are being added every year. As my family is growing, I hope we are related, and we can help each other grow our ancestral lines.

Best regards,
